The reason is, the problem actually exists; so the reason for its closing is void. I will give a few more data points: - I have a custom compiled kernel - I have followed the instructions in errata.txt. the settings in /boot/kernel.conf get actually applied correctly. But if I change anything in userconfig, /boot/kernel.conf is not modified accordingly, nor is a new /kernel.config created. Actually, /kernel.config contained the changes made at install time and was never updated after that. I also compiled kget from /usr/src/release.. and tried it: dido# [wefa] kget en isic0 po isic0 0x300 ir isic0 5 f isic0 0x4 buffer sizing: No such file or directory >How-To-Repeat: No Idea. It happens here every time, but I lack the time and test-machines to test various kernel alternatives just out of wild guessing. But I'm of course willing to test specific changes if told to do. >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
