The following reply was made to PR ports/88777; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Vladimir Grebenschikov <vova@fbsd.ru> To: Panagiotis Astithas <past@ebs.gr> Cc: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: ports/88777: eclipse crashes java machine on indexing cdt project Date: Thu, 08 Dec 2005 16:52:42 +0300 =F7 =DE=D4, 08/12/2005 =D7 14:55 +0200, Panagiotis Astithas =D0=C9=DB=C5=D4= : > Is this with the latest version of jdk15 (1.5.0p2_3) or just the updated=20 > eclipse-cdt port? I am really interested in the former test. Not latest, but jdk-1.5.0p2_2 I run it as eclipse -vm /usr/local/jdk1.5.0/bin/java -vmargs -Xmx700M > I also believe that you have to rm ~/.eclipse (or start eclipse with=20 > -clean) in order to use the new version of the CDT plugin (and the new=20 > native libraries it contains). Yes, with -clean it starts and no more crashes on C++ indexing > Cheers, > Panagiotis --=20 Vladimir B. Grebenschikov vova@fbsd.ru
