You are probably the best person to sit down and write the relevant parts, since you have the first-hand experience of doing it all. Can you copy the existing parts of the documentation locally and modify them to include your suggested additions? The format of the changes is not that important, since me or someone else of the documentation people can do the conversion to SGML when needed. What is more important is to have the text written in the first place.
