I work with a FreeBSD 2.2.2 box that we are looking at expanding with a RAID silo containing 3 9.1Gb U/W SCSI-III H/D's (the silo is expandable to a total of 12 h/d's) A search through the mailing list archives indicates that the NCR 53C875 controller card may be an option as well as the Adaptec 2940UW (which it was noted may uncover trouble with older firmware). Is any one using either of these cards with success? Are there other controller cards that will work?
