Sorry, I forgot to credit you as well. I did (and still do :) ) trust your tinderbox and highly appreciate your feedback, but I didn't want to bother you for each and every patch I made to progress a bit futher in the build (now I got only 5 but who knows these days how many patches you will need with an ancient gcc?). I didn't expect that it would take me so long to build an own stable tinderbox (see the last graid3 commit for the reason why).
