The RAIDframe driver performs pretty well but unfortunately has some problems on recent -STABLEs. I had it running on two systems for evalution purposes for quite some time but I ran into some serious RAIDframe-related panics on 4.5-STABLE and went for vinum. Thats a shame because I like the concept, it is fairly well docu- mented and the configuration is pretty straightforward. AFAIK Scott Long works at Adaptec and he don't have much time to work on the RAIDframe port. > If no-one has any then I will have to use NetBSD, but NetBSD dosen't > offer SMP... I may even end up using Linux. Whats the problem with vinum? Cheers, -sascha To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
