:rc.conf should be totally static.
:of course you could always work out a method to OVERRIDE the values set
:there is they are left at default or are not set.
:rc.network could do that sort of thing but leave rc.conf alone.
This isn't helping.
here's the problem: I need a per-machine rc.conf.local
What's the solution?
