I have just uploaded a new GENERIC alpha kernel to http://www.freebsd.org/~dfr. This kernel should detect the disk which was booted and select the root partition from that disk (no need for a separate .da1 version). It also contains fixes for the axppci33 platform (including Multias and UDBs) which work on at least one system. Your mileage may vary. -- Doug Rabson Mail: dfr@nlsystems.com Nonlinear Systems Ltd.
