Well in the future when replying to a freebsd-questions message, please remember to cc: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org. This is SOP for this group. The plain-text password fix for NT is probably well-documented in the Samba docs somewhere but I don't have a reference handy. I have a bookmark on the page in my copy of Blair's "Samba Integrating UNIX and Windows". HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\rdr\parameters Add value[1] EnablePlainTextPassword type DWORD value 1. [1] This is a typo in the book, which says "key" rather than "value". >BTW I don't suppose you know how to patch successfully Apache for the >Frontpage subwebs do you? > I tried it but i downgrades Apache from 1.3.9 to 1.3.3 and it still >doesn't work ?? Not a clue. But if you ask on freebsd-questions@freebsd.org you will probably find someone who can help you. -Mitch To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
