I am currently running FreeBSD 3.4 and 4.0 machines and I notice that when
I setup the following line under /etc/gettytab on 3.4 machines I get my
/etc/issue file displayed whether I login through console or telnet.
default:\
:cb:ce:ck:lc:fd#1000:im=\r\n%s/%m(%h) (%t)\r\n\r\n:if=/etc/issue:
sp#1200:
On my 4.0 machines I only get my issue displayed when I login through the
console.
Does any one know the reason for this difference in behavior between 3.4
and 4.0 and how I can get my 4.0 machines to display my /etc/issue file
when I telnet in??
Thanks
Chris
