A FreeBSD PR would have been pretty useless anyway. A quick search in the xorg
bugzilla at bugzilla.freedesktop.org turns up
http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1209, which in turn
references a workaround for the problem in KDE. The workaround will be in KDE
3.3.1 (which has already been released, port is being worked on).
