https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=287610 Bug ID: 287610 Summary: bsdconfig "Add User" inserts default name when empty Product: Base System Version: Unspecified Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: karlo98.m@gmail.com When creating a new user via bsdconfig / installer, if specified "Full Name" is an empty string, user's "Full Name" is instead set to "User &". Editing the user to remove the name "User &" works as expected. It is a tiny nuisance that keeps bugging me because I usually don't specify full names and dislike having a default, wrong name, and creating a user without name is a somewhat convoluted 2-step operation (creating and then editing). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
