            Bug ID: 264775
Summary: acpi_thermal: passive cooling only throttles cpu0
           Product: Base System
           Version: 13.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: crahman@gmail.com

Back when all the cpu frequencies were locked to cpu0's frequency, this wor=
ked
fine. However, now that that is not true, reducing the frequency of cpu0 a=
nd
leaving the others at their maximum frequency has a minor affect upon
temperatures, leading to overheating and shutdowns when passive cooling is
needed.
