From pcAnywhere knowledgebase:

"If the host and remote are separated by a firewall
you may encounter problems connecting. pcANYWHERE32 
communicates through the UDP protocol and sends directed 
packets. 
  pcANYWHERE32 uses four ports: 22, 65301, 5631, and 5632. 
These ports must be open to enable a connection."
