Hey folks, I tried to install FreeBSD on my new notebook I bought last week. Unfortunately it did not work. The computer collapses during the boot of the machine from the CD. Actually I tried to choose the graphic installation which shows me 7 hardware conflicts in the list. After deselecting these components I say SAVE but my guess is that it doesn't save anything at all due to the fact that he cannot write to the CD drive. Can this be avoided by booting up from a floppy? Or what else can be the reason for this error message that is the last one that pops up on the screen: pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x11c1, dev=0x5811) at 13.0 Any idea?
