-------- Hi! I have a program which runs since several month on 2.2.7-RELEASE and also on 3.0-RELEASE AOUT. Now I switch to an ELF system, and notice, that the syslog messages syslog(LOG_NOTICE, "dattape: Using tapedevice %s\n", bandgeraet); don't appear anymore! The prog is compiled statically. When I terminate the prog, compile it with as an aout (cc -aout) and start it again, it works!!!! System is an fresch install on 3.0-RELEASE! Any ideas?
