Hi all - I'm a first-timer here (have been using Linux for about five years or so). I've just installed FreeBSD 6.2 on my second PC and it is excellent! I can say now that when 7.0 comes out, that will be going on my main PC ( *really* looking forward to 7.0 coming out ... :-) ) I think that when 7.0 comes along, you'll see quite an increase in the number of people like myself who will try it and be utterly sold on it. Excellent engineering, beautifully done! One of the things that was the "tipping point" for me to use Free was that I saw a performance comparison graph of Free v7 versus Linux. Free semed to be way ahead, and that (coupled with the excellent design) made it easy to decide to go with Free.... ;-) <Homer Simpson mode> "Mmmmmmmm....... 7.0......... </Homer Simpson mode> Bye for now - - Andy
