Jake supplied the sparc assembler diff. It is probably 'suboptimal' for ia64 (at least the ia64 assembler diff is prabably not making correct use of ia64 grouping, but I think it should work).. it does at least compile. (well it does since I checked in a missing patch) I left a patch on pluto1 and forgot to bring it back to my checkin tree, but I found it withing a few minites. in post checkin testing. why do you ask?
