Okay, I have rtc installed and loaded ... linuxprocfs installed and loaded
... /usr/compat/linux/proc/meminfo even reports accurately:
cat /usr/compat/linux/proc/meminfo
total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
Mem: 131706880 92217344 39489536 7815168 11205632 139264
Swap: 0 0 0
MemTotal: 128620 kB
MemFree: 38564 kB
MemShared: 7632 kB
Buffers: 10943 kB
Cached: 136 kB
SwapTotal: 0 kB
SwapFree: 0 kB
But when I run vmware, I get:
Error opening /proc/meminfo: grep: /proc/meminfo: No such file or directory
This is as a regular user ... as root, it appears to work fine though ...
