I have been still using it as a part of lagg(4) on FreeBSD 11.3. It used to behave even worse earlier (used with older FreeBSD releases). I recall similar failures on Linux, rebooting machine was solving the issue. Bringing this card up and down, reloading drivers etc was never helping regardless it was going on FreeBSD or Linux.
