A publicly available contender against adobe photoshop is gimp. The main web page is: http://www.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/~gimp/ There is also a ports collection up at ftp.freebsd.org: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports-current/graphics/gimp To get and compile a port's package mkdir -p /usr/ports/graphics cd /usr/ports/graphics ncftp ftp ftp.ftp.freebsd.org cd pub/FreeBSD/ports-current/ cd graphics get gimp.tar.gz quit tar -xzf gimp.tar.gz cd gimp make make install You will also need the pots/x11/freefonts package Have fun, Amancio >From The Desk Of Jack W Doyle : > I know that this may be the wrong mailing-list to ask, but I figured that > since this is the multimedia group, I might as well ask :) > > Is there an equivalent of Adobe PhotoShop for FreeBSD?
