Jean-Baptiste, I decided to test this on my Thinkpad 600, which has CS423x on device pcm. I suspended to disk (hibernated), resumed, and got no sound. Sorry I have no solution, but I can confirm the problem, and that it is not soundcard-specific. Unfortunately I could find no option in LINT to repair this, like the following ones that I use for pcic and psm: options PCIC_RESUME_RESET # reset cards after resume options PSM_HOOKRESUME #hook the system resume event options PSM_RESETAFTERSUSPEND #reset the device at the resume event >however the audio device is not reset, it is no more >available after a resume. Anyone knows how I could achieve this? My >ThinkPad has an ESS Solo 1 audio chip, if this helps, and I used the >kernel built-in pcm device.
