Because CURRENT will soon adopt the KAME/INRIA code into the source tree. That will ease a lot of pico's development. I see no point in messing around with those sources, while they get integrated Very Soon Now(tm) into CURRENT (from which we will pull our base). Btw, Andrzej, that softupdates is cool, might be an even better thing if we could put it to work with pico, then it's a megafast OS.
