There's a small error in gethostbyname.3. The third argument is the socket family (AF_INET) which need sys/socket.h included (as well as sys/types.h for sys/socket.h). I was going to fix and commit this myself, but I'm not sure where those headers should be listed since they are only needed for gethostbyaddr(). Typically I see them overtop of the function they are needed for, but those functions are usually listed last and moving gethostbyaddr() to the bottom really didn't fit.
