I finally got my other test machine upgraded to FreeBSD 4.9-stable + usb patchset, so that I could find out if my problems with my main machine is hardware- or software-related. The test machine has the following USB hardware: "usb0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> on uhci0" and the test program works on that machine. So it seems that the problems with my main machine (which also runs 4.9-stable + usb patchset) is related either to the usb hardware ("usb0: <SiS 5571 USB controller> on ohci0") or the drivers. More tests to come. -- Torfinn Ingolfsen, Norway ------------------------------------------------------------ Få din egen @start.no-adresse gratis på http://www.start.no/
