ifconfig as attached in the log says:

         ssid libastral channel 36 (5180 MHz 11a ht/40+) bssid 2c:c8:1b:c1:8d:d0

ht/40+

         -pureg protmode CTS ht htcompat -ampdutx ampdurx ampdulimit 64k

ht is on (no minus in front)

         media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet MCS mode 11na

and you are on MCS mode 11na


That is all as expected for 11n.

The tunable doesn't get unset by anything if set correctly at boot time.
Maybe double check there is no typo or copy&paste problem?  You can use the
name from the sysctl to be sure.
