i have a weird sound problem with the thinkpad 560. i'm running 2.2.6. if i just boot up, sound works just fine. if i hibernate (write memory to disk) and resume sound works just fine. if i suspend (keeping just the memory alive) and resume, the sound is screwed up, it generates these errors: Sound: DMA timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error? Sound: DMA timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error? Sound: DMA timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error? like the IRQ is not being rehung after the suspend. however, if i then hibernate/resume, it works just fine again. is it a software or firmware/hardware problem? anyone know what's up with that? the other nit i have, is that when i went from PAO -> vanilla freebsd, i noticed suspends under vanilla freebsd seem to use more battery power. i have two PCCARDs shoved into the machine, pretty much at all times. has anyone else noticed this? rob To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
