I have built 4.0 on a brand new machine, I did install the Linux compatible stuff but then I installed communicator from /usr/ports/www/netscape47-communicator which uses communicator-v472-export.x86-unknown-freebsd.tar.gz and it all works perfectly on my machine. I think the linux stuff may be a red herring. Simon -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Stephen M. I asked this question last week and it was suggested that I look at "ldconfig -r" which shows "libXt.so.6.0" is installed. Someone else suggested to check that "libXt.so.6.0" might be a symlink to itself or something else, which is not the case. The real deal exists right where it should be. Someone else suggests that what Netscape is really looking for is a.out, which is also on my system. Does anyone else have a clue? Jason and I are stumped. -- Stephen M.
