It's only being rolled back for 4.x-STABLE.

If you're using 5.0-DP1, you should really be using the 5.0-DP1
packages: many newer packages will not work properly since they were
built for a newer version of 5.0-CURRENT, and as you've noticed
5.0-DP1's pkg_add -r can't handle fetching .tbz packages (this support
came later).
