I can't find any information regarding FreeBSD's support for the High Point
HTP370 IDE Controller found on the Abit KT7 RAID motherboard. Normally I
would assume this means that there is no support and I should just go ahead
and run another OS. However, FreeBSD is my 1st choice of OS and Id like to
purchase this motherboard and run it on it. I have found that Linux
supports the controller through a kernel patch. It therefore seems
possible to me that someone has done the same for FreeBSD. Any information
you have on the support or possible future support of this controller in
FreeBSD is much appreciated. Thanks.
