For the benefit of anyone who doesn't know this already, NEVER execute
a command you don't understand. They will always tell you it is harmless,
of course! That's why we have man pages :-)
In this case it seems to be from a good bloke for a good reason,
and everyone except us would have understood immediately what the
command would do. I'm still gonna read up on it first though :-)
Nick, would it help at all if newbies identified themselves as newbies
when they send you the info?
