After having finished my upgrade from 13.4-RELEASE to 14.2-RELEASE, and
recompiling all of my ports, and of course switching from drm-510-kmod to
drm-515-kmod, I can no longer reproduce this problem even by rebooting 20 t=
imes
in a row (my standard stress test for this bug).  So I am closing it now.  I
personally believe (based on entirely subjective evidence) that it was the
drm-515-kmod upgrade that fixed the problem.
