malloc: cannot allocate memory This error message i get when try to retrive big enough table PostgreSQL using interactive monitor psql. My system Free-BSD 2.2.7, PostgreSQL v6.3.2 and v6.4 running on Pentium 166 with 48MB-RAM, swap space 200MB(the most usage at the moment of error 37%) Table size is about 5MB (not too big i think). If I link psql with libmalloc (from 2.2.7 packages) request works. To repeat start Postgres, run psql and request SELECT * FROM Big_Enough_Table; Sorry, but with Linux RH-5.1 all works well. --- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexander N Shulyak | E-Mail: Alexander N Shulyak <alec@nikts.nk.ukrtel.net> | Date: 07-Nov-98 Nikolaev | Time: 11:45:56 Ukraine | This message was sent by XFMail -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
