I'm envisioning 2-3 years from now, we'll either:

a) rewrite our installer to use the new automation (and if it can't do the job we'll patch it), or...

b) roll 10.x release into a split-tarball so sysinstall can lay it down (assuming that we're still using UFS1/2 as a filesystem for the OS (one of the shortcomings of sysinstall).

Either way, shouldn't be too much of a problem. I for one welcome our new bsdinstall and/or pc-sysinstall overlord.
