Linux Journal is excellent, Linux Magazine is good for newbies, the rest are trash. One big reason why Linux has more mags than *BSD: Linux has all the hype. One big reason why it's not that big of a deal: 90% of Linux magazines are NOT about Linux. Instead they are about Open Source software. Articles on Apache, PHP, etc, are appropriate if you're running a *BSD. Besides which, do we really need two issues a year entitled "Distribution Roundup?"
