I have a back trace that is exactly like this. I got it by doing a "call dumpsys" at the ddb prompt. It is also at the pmap_zero_page line in vm_fault, then has the corrupted frame and then goes into another vault. Curiously, my machine is a K6-2 too. I've followed the same gdb steps which you went through, and the panic looks identical. The is the same panic as the one which I posted the ktr trace for a couple of days ago, if that helps. David.
