Anyone have any luck getting Compaq's C++ compiler for alphalinux working
under emulation? The regular C compiler seems to work, but the C++ compiler
can't seem to find header files. I already went through the process of
brandelf'ing the binaries, and fixing all the broken symlinks, but still no go.
The simple test program:
#include <iostream.h>
main()
{
cout << "hello\n";
}
...produces:
% /compat/linux/usr/bin/cxx -o temp temp.cc
cxx: Error: temp.cc, line 1: could not open source file "iostream.h"
#include <iostream.h>
---------------------^
cxx: Error: temp.cc, line 5: identifier "cout" is undefined
cout << "hello\n";
--------^
cxx: Error: temp.cc, line 5: expression must have integral or enum type
cout << "hello\n";
----------------^
cxx: Info: 3 errors detected in the compilation of "temp.cc".
Same program works fine with g++.
