I recently installed FreeBSD 4.2 on a new machine. I chose the "standard" install, then slid the cursor down to the "All" heading and hit return. As I read it, this should have installed just about everything possible (binaries, sources, etc.). Unfortunately, it didn't work that way, so I found myself doing the install again, putting X's in all the boxes in all of the sub-menus. That time, I did get everything. Is there some reason why "All" doesn't mean all? Did I boze, somehow? -r -- -- http://www.cfcl.com/rdm email: rdm@cfcl.com phone: +1 650-873-7841 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
