Please let me know when zou > have a releng22 libc. It's at http://people.freebsd.org/~trevor/src/compat22.tar.bz2 . I installed FreeBSD 2.2.8 from ftp://ftp.internat.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/old/2.2.8-RELEASE/, checked out the RELENG_2_2 sources from early July 18th UTC, compiled and installed a fresh kernel, did a "make buildworld installworld," cleared /usr/obj/, rebooted, and did another "make buildworld installworld." The system is able to resolve hostnames and addresses. This should go in 4.6.1. -- Trevor Johnson To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
