Greg, Ok, by using Alt-F2, scroll lock and pg up / pg dw I was finally able to view something. But what I'm viewing, I have no idea : Debug Notify: Copying the boot floppy tp /stand on root filesystem then it goes through about 2 dozen lines that all start with /mnt/stand/"filenames" at the end of all that is the following: DEBUG: Generating /etc/fstab file cd9660: RockRidge Extension Ok, what might all this mean to me ? By "simple" instructions I was referring to chapter 4. Which has an overtone of "installing this should be simple". I meant no harm. I just get tired of reading tons of stuff on FreeBSD and all the Linux Distros that keep trying to convince everyone that installation is going to be "easy" or "simple". I just think it misrepresent how complex installing an OS can be and often is. Thankfully, I have others to keep my Irix OS up and running.....
