Thanks anyway, though. George In case anyone else was having the same trouble, I realized that I could make it work with the vesa driver for the time being. This is the (Linux-oriented) page that helped me: http://www.vantslot.net/toshiba/toshiba_2805-S402.html Recapping, Toshiba 2805-S603 laptop with GeForce2Go card works fine at 16bpp 1024x768 using the VESA driver on FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE and XFree86 4.1.0.
