Im running xfree 4.0.3 and seem to be having issues with getting vmware2's full screen mode to work. If i set the resolution in vmware to the same resolution im running in X, when i Switch to full screen mode, it freezes up my computer.. The display shows my x windows desktop and freezes there, computer is pingable but unresponsive, and must be rebooted. How can I fix this / what are the reasons for this at least? The reason I need full screen mode is because I cannot get my virtual resolution to go higher than 800x600 even though my display can go to 1024x768 and that is what i run my xwindows at. (the app i run is 800x600, and if i put win in that mode, i cant see it all even in 1024x768 because of the vmware menus hogging space heh. Please rely to my email as I'm not subscribed. Thanks.
