It was even supported in 2.1R. What geometry are telling FreeBSD during the installation? It should either be 64 heads/32 sectors per track/#MB reported by FreeBSD cylinders or 255/64/#MB/7 cylinders. Use the 255 geometry if you have a > 1gig drive AND have extended translation turned on in SCSI-Select, otherwise use the 64 one. -- Justin T.
