Is this 4.1-R or > > some -STABLE? > > It is 4.1-Release. Jonathan, it was quit odd but I found the problem. I own a SE440BX-2 Intel motherboard and I had upgraded the BIOS Flash to version 16. When I reconfired my motherboard I set the Plug and Play Operating System flag to YES. Later I turned this flag to NO and the problem with my ethernet ugli duckling card disappeared. Perhaps I should report this problem...
