It looks like PC-BSD can run this 
driver via NDIS - http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Wireless_Testing . 
Maybe they can help resolve the issue.  Personally I've been putting off attempting an OpenBSD -> FreeBSD wireless driver port (urtwn).
