The PRs are assigned to Dag-Erling. Why hasn't this been dealt with
already?

A quick glance over the PR shows that the code has been written very
well. I wouldn't be surpised if it could be applied without any
thinking or testing because it has all the signs that the writer has
done that already. So, are there any technical issues not apparent
from glancing at the PR that need to be resolved first?
