looks like you need something like this in the global .cshrc file
on the remote host:
# set display if remote login ...
if ($?REMOTEHOST) then
setenv DISPLAY $REMOTEHOST\:0.0
endif
Remember that sshd sets the X11 display offset in its config file ala
X11DisplayOffset 10
