I assume that the sound hardware is attached to the PCI bus, that's why we don't get a pnpinfo. Anything more I can do? I have already built a new kernel from the newest -STABLE sources (I use ctm normally but since they don't work at the moment, I used cvs) but this didn't help. Do you think, it might be worth trying a -current kernel? I don't know if I can compile one under 4.3 but I can give it a try...
