Right now, /pub/FreeBSD on ftp.freebsd.org is 28.531.170 Kbyte
(~ 28 Gbyte).

I don't think so. On ftp7.de.freebsd.org we're using omi
(/usr/ports/ftp/omi) for mirroring.
