Hello, The old chip now works fine after compiling the bcm.ko with special options and installing a port for the firmware blob. A big thanks to Adrian for this work. What I'm still struggling with, is put a static IP addr, and not DHCP in the interface like ifconfig_wlan0="WPA inet 192.168.2.3 netmask ....." This worked before with the USB Wifi card but does not work now anymore with the bwn card. But this is something to solve in userland ...
